THOUGHTS FROM ADMINISTRATOR JERRY
To be all things to all persons is a challenge, if not, just impossible mostly. But at SWTS, we know who we are! We know what we genuinely, consistently represent! To share with those new to us, to attract those parent and preschooler prospects seeking quality early childhood options, Stepping With The Stones is an authentic, 21st Century preschool advantage…offering a profound learning center while also providing a fun, loving, caring setting and approach built on solid experience, wisdom, and trust. These qualities daily affect preschoolers and parents here at SWTS! Parents want a quality cognitive center and a happy, social, and safe learning environment that capably builds self-confidence, exploration, and genuine respect and peacefulness in preschool children. And what’s of more concern to families than “the trust factor”? SWTS is a powerful preschool center making a difference in children and families in the midcoast Maine area!
This week, on Valentine’s Day, the Leyton-Fagan family wrote a warm note to Bette and me. It expresses the value of our SWTS Preschool educational program, our quality professionals and staff, and the essential value we place on preschooler self-worth and family support.
Here are a few sentences from that note: “Wow! We don’t know where to begin to express our deep love and appreciation for your family and your preschool program! You have touched our family in so many profound ways! Our son, Alejandro, just loves and adores both of you and your staff. Our family so much appreciates the example you set for him! The incredible education, and even more important, the life skills and character development you instill and reinforce are truly priceless! In these things, you go way above and beyond! You have supported our family in so many beautiful ways! Your insights and wisdom and genuine affection make us feel we’re an extension of your family! Bette, you, and your staff are incredibly vested in the beautiful children in your preschool, and this will be a forever lasting, positive impact they’ll carry for the rest of their lives. We hope there are some ways we can reciprocate all the love and support you have shown us. We love you, and feel so blessed to have you in our lives and our children fully involved in SWTS!”

FIRST THINGS FIRST
1. Happy February Vacation to all!
2. My home printer is acting up! 2012 Summer Camp forms & 2011-12 Preschool enrollment forms will be in your mailboxes just after Feb. Vacation.
3. A few parents are just now signing up at $50 more a month and thus enrolling their children an additional day per week here at SWTS. This is an especially powerful gift to your child at a reasonable price, a huge extended gift! As you know, Parents, SWTS maximizes learning and fun each preschooler day!
4. Miss Angie back is back…the week after Feb. Vacation! Yippee!
5. The alphabet letter, V, v, will be introduced just following vacation.
6. 7th graders from CRMS are collaboratively here with learning activities for our preschoolers on Mon., Mar. 5
